IT Matters are very privileged to support the ‘Looking up Books’ series produced by the Cornwall Down’s Syndrome Support Group(CDSSG).

The Going to School Book support transition into school, or across year groups .The images in the book have been chosen to give you an opportunity to talk about the many things that may happen during a typical school day – learning together, making friends, and having fun.

The book have an on-line narrated version by Helen Laverty and Nottingham university which is available here .

Together with CDSSG and The Makaton Charity we have developed a Makaton Resource Pack to use alongside and in addition to the book in supporting the transition and throughout the school day.
